I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan. I’m currently working under the supervision of Prof. Alfred Hero. My general research interests are in machine learning, deep learning, estimation, information theory, and graphical models. In particular, I have recently been involved in several interesting projects on information theoretic analysis of DNNs and CNNs, estimation of divergence and information measures, analysis of sequential models such as LSTMs and GRUs, meta-learning approaches in deep learning and machine learning, data visualization techniques and dimensionality reduction methods, change and anomaly detection approaches, application of deep learning and machine learning algorithms in various areas such as image processing, medical prediction and diagnosis, biology, geology, etc.
