Yaya Zhai

I am a PhD student in Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

I have received my B.S. in Pharmacy from Peking University and a M.S. in Medicinal Chemistry from Peking University Health Science Center.

I am interested in applying statistical learning methods to health-related topics, especially in temporal biological process and sequencing data analysis.

I am working on a project about disease susceptibility and trying to find biomarkers to predict and explain it, as well as investigating the presence and change of circadian pattern during this process.
