I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Prof. Alfred Hero in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan. I received two B.S. degrees (one in Mathematics, one in Computer Science) from Peking University in 2007, and earned my Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from University of Hong Kong (2010-2014). I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Texas A&M University. My research areas are statistical learning and information theory.
